While Petrus Pomerol‘s history may be shorter than other chateau‘s, its fame throughout the Bordeaux community is already legendary.

Founded in 1925, Petrus quickly became a cult winery. With soil consisting of predominately clay, the 12 hectares of vineyards are perfectly suited to producing Merlot grapes which constitute 95% of all growth in the region.

The 1982 Petrus is a well preserved bottle of wine, collecting an average tasting score of 87 amongst sommeliers.
